Police K9 Helps with Meth Bust

Mountain View Police dog had a busy day.

Crime fighters come in all shapes and sizes.

That's what the Mountain View Police Department's K9 Zeus proved when he helped find two pounds of methamphetamine in a residence in San Jose, Wednesday, the MVPD reported in its Facebook page.

According to the police, Zeus located the methamphetamine in a hidden compartment inside a vehicle. He also alerted to drug money, which had a loaded hand gun next to it, the post said.

And yes, "K9's can smell money and narcotics, and sometimes both at the same time," the MVPD confirmed.

What do you think about Zeus' discovery? What's the coolest thing your dog can do?
