Police Search for Missing French Citizen Who Works in Mountain View

Matthieu Tuvgnon, 32, of Santa Clara left his work in Mountain View around lunch and 'disappearance is considered out-of-character and suspicious.'

 

Police in Santa Clara are searching for a man who went missing Wednesday.

Matthieu Tuvgnon, 32, of Santa Clara left his work in Mountain View for lunch this afternoon and stopped by a store at Stevens Creek Boulevard and South Winchester Boulevard in Santa Clara at around 1 p.m. but has not been heard from by family or friends since, police said.

His cellphone has been found and Tuvignon's disappearance is considered out-of-character and suspicious. The French citizen living and working in the U.S. has no known medical conditions, takes no prescription medication and may be in possession of a handgun.

He is described as being 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
