Police: Woman Sexually Battered Near Pioneer Park

News from the Mountain View Police Department:

On Sunday, July 13, at about 10:45 p.m., officers were called to assist a woman reporting she was sexually battered near Pioneer Park in Mountain View. 

The victim, a 20-year-old female Mountain View resident, told officers while she was walking home on Church Street a man grabbed her from behind and groped her.

After a brief struggle the male ran off through Pioneer Park. The victim then called 911. 

The suspect is still at large and is described as a Hispanic male about 25 years old, 5’10″ with an average build, wearing a dark shirt.
