Recognize Us? Mtn. View Police Suspect Us of Burglarizing National Ave. Office

Department releases video stills hoping public can help make ID.

Mountain View Police logged a commercial burglary report on March 14 from an office on the 400 block of National Avenue.

After further investigation, officers believe two women -- who were captured on surveillance video -- entered the building with a key card on March 9 between 5 p.m. and 6:20 p.m., proceeded to the second floor and stole significant amounts of toner cartridges and other hardware.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic, in her 30s, slightly heavy-set with long hair. She was seen wearing glasses, a black sweatshirt, dark jeans and shoes that appeared to have a white marking on the side.

The second suspect is seen in a light-colored T-shirt entering the building. Also described as Hispanic, she is in her 30s, skinny, and was wearing jeans and carrying a black bag. Additionally, her shoes were fairly distinctive with what appeared to be white tips.

Anyone who recognizes either women, or has information about this incident, is asked to contact Mountain View police at 650-903-6344 and reference case number 14-1383.
