Skateboarder Hit, Suffers Major Injuries
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
A skateboarder was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Mountain View Sunday morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of Mayfield Avenue at about 11:30 a.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.
The skateboarder was taken to Stanford Hospital with major injuries, he said.
Further details were not immediately available, and the case remains under investigation.
