Stanford Public Safety Searches for Man After Woman Assaulted

Incident occurred on campus Tuesday night.

The Stanford Department of Public Safety is searching for a male suspect who allegedly assaulted a female student on the Stanford University campus Tuesday night.

The female student said an unknown man grabbed her as she ran on Campus Drive, between Stock Farm and Searsville Roads, according to the university's law enforcement agency.

She reported the assault to a passing motorist at about 10:30 p.m. and described the man as wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie pulled over his head.
