The Mountain View Police Department wants the public's help to identify a woman who allegedly used stolen credit cards to withdraw money from a local bank.
According to the MVPD, nearly two months ago on July 9th around 3:20 p.m. a woman entered a bank on the 400 block of Castro Street and received a cash advance of an undisclosed amount from a stolen credit card.
The suspect then went to a bank on the 300 block of San Antonio Road to apparently try the same thing with another credit card, but an astute teller suspicious of the female didn't hand over any cash. The suspect fled.
The MVPD shares that the victim later discovered that their wallet had been stolen from a location in downtown Mountain View.
According to the police, the suspect may have committed similar acts in Southern California.
