Woman Struck and Killed by Car Identified
The 59-year-old crossed Phyllis Avenue during rush hour Monday evening.
The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office has identified Rufien Ma as the woman struck and killed by a car Monday in Mountain View.
Ba, 59, died from her injuries after being transported to Stanford Hospital. She had been crossing Phyllis Avenue around 6:30 p.m. when the incident occured.
Correction and update at 4:25 p.m.: The victim's last name had been originally published as "Ba."
