"@mountainview_ca ugh to the power outage! What happened? @MountainViewPD @MtnViewPatch," asked jawsette, a resident near the intersection of Moffett Boulevard and E. Middlefield Road at about 10:39 p.m.

Mountain View Patch immediately contacted PG&E that night and spokesman J.D. Guidi confirmed that power went out to 3,200 customers at 10:11 p.m.

In another conversation on Sunday, he updated that power was restored at 11:38 p.m. to 3,070 customers. However, 120 customers remained without power until 8 a.m. and yet another ten customers didn't receive power until 10:40 a.m.

A down power line caused the outage, according to Guidi.
