Father's Day Power Outage Affects 3,032 Customers

PG&E has not determined cause of early evening blackout in Mountain View.

For some in Mountain View, Father's Day may have been interrupted by a blackout.

According to Pacific Gas & Electric a power outage that began at 4:17 p.m. affected 3,032 customers. Forty-one minute later at 4:58 p.m. power had been restored.

PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said the cause had not been determined nor did he know the boundaries of the blackout.

This is the third power outage in two months in Mountain View, the last one .
