Follow-Up: Stevens Creek Trail Still Closed, Says PG&E

Crews remain on scene after fire due to down power lines near Microsoft campus.

"We still have crews on site doing repair work to the transmission line that caused power outage to customers," said Monica Tell, a PG&E spokeswoman. "The trail is going to be closed off until all repairs are made. For safety, the trail will remain closed."

According to Tell, , Jan. 12. This caused a power outage to 372 customers in the vicinity. All power was restored by 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.

"PG&E will completely replace everything that was damaged and even some of the stuff that was in good working condition," Tell said. "The cause of the outage is still under investigation."

PG&E is not yet clear when the trail will open North of La Avenida because the work is really extensive, Tell said.
