Memorial Day: Air National Guard Band of the West Coast Performances
Located at Moffett Field, this military band helps to honor the fallen men and women at parades and events in the region this holiday weekend.
For communities around the nation it's quite common to observe Memorial Day with a parade.
The Air National Guard's Band of the West Coast performed this Sunday, May 27 as it marched down the streets of San Mateo.
Located in Moffett Federal Airfield since in 1994, the band represents the 129th Rescue Wing. It was created in 1942 and has performed for audiences all over the world, although it primarily serves communities throughout Northern California, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
