Pickup Truck Removed from Caltrain Tracks
Early morning commute saved after vehicle accidentally drives onto rails.
Caltrain reported that at 4:30 a.m. today a pickup truck accidentally drove onto the train tracks in Mountain View about one mile south of Highway 85.
According to Spokeswoman Christine Dunn, no one suffered any injuries and the pickup truck was swiftly removed by a tow truck by 5 a.m.
Northbound trains 101 and 103 could have been delayed a few minutes, Dunn added.
