Second to Last City Council Meeting Before Summer Break

Here's a summary of what's on the City Council Agenda for tonight:

Open Study Session, 5 p.m.

• The Valley Transit Authority representatives will present a proposal for the Bus Rapid Transit Project along El Camino Real.

Close Session, 6 p.m.

• Labor negotiation agreements continue between the City of Mountain View and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the Eagles.

Regular Session, 6:30 p.m.

• Environmental Planning Commission will discuss their work plan for 2011-12.
• Removal of heritage trees will play center stage during the conversation about the development at 100 Mayfield Ave and 590 E. Middlefield Rd.
• Council will look at a development appeal for a wireless communication facility at 1059 Wright Ave.
