Unwanted Prescription Drug Collection Saturday
Flushing drugs down the toilet or throwing them in the trash pose potential safety and health hazards.
If you have prescription drugs that are expired or no longer needed, turn them in for free Saturday at several nearby locations listed below.
The drug collection is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). No questions will be asked.
The MVPD suggests consolidating the medications for example pouring all pills into one zip-loc-type bag and recycling the empty the bottles at home. The collection will accept liquid medication in a tightly sealed container.
Intra-venous solutions, injectibles, and syringes will not be accepted.
