What's Closed on Veterans Day in Mountain View?

In observation, government offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12.

This year, Veterans Day Nov. 11th members of the Armed Forces will be honored across the country for their military service to the United States.

And while many will commemorate the Vets on Sunday, government offices will close on Monday to do so.

Here's a list of closures around Mountain View:

  • Mountain View City Hall: Closed.
  • United States Post Office: Postal services will be closed on but the automatic postal center will be open at the Hope Street branch.
  • Social Security Administration office at 700 E. El Camino Real: Closed.
  • Mountain View Public Library: Closed.
  • Mountain View Whisman School District Office: No school.
  • Mountain View Senior Center: Closed.
  • Mountain View Teen House: Closed.
  • Teen Open Gym at Whisman Sports Complex: Closed.
  • Mountain View Recreation Center: Closed.
  • While the Mountain View Police Department and Fire Department will respond to any calls, their fronts desks will be closed.
  • Both Samtrans and Caltrain will operate on a regular schedule however its administration offices will be closed.
  • Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will operate on a regular schedule however its administration offices will be closed.
