Last January the Mountain View Kiwanis Club gave out $160,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations.
The Crittenden Middle School music department was among the recipients and with their share of the money they purchased much needed equipment.
They sent the MV Kiwanis club members photos and a the following note:
Dear Mountain View Kiwanis,
Thank you again for the generous grant to Crittenden Middle School’s music department. We thought you would like to see what we were able to purchase with these much needed funds (please see photos attached).
The mixing board and spotlight did a marvelous job of showing off the talent of our students in the spring production of “Seussical, Jr.” It was a wonderful show! And the timpani has been put to use already in the band and orchestra concerts.
We appreciate your investment in the lives of students in Mountain View. Have a great summer!
