The Weather Outside Is Frightful, But Their Caroling Will Be Delightful!

Mountain View High School's Madrigal singers will brave the cold and perform tonight.

Weather forecasters predict tonight's temperatures in Mountain View will not be as low as they have been recently -- 46 degrees to 38 degrees is projected between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

But that's still nippy by our standards.

So a big round of advance applause for Mountain View High School's Madrigal singers, who will perform at tonight's community's tree lighting and be caroling along Castro Street for downtown's Holiday Open House, sponsored by the Central Business Association.

Unfamiliar with these amazing teen singers?

Here are two YouTube videos of recent performances: from October and from a December 2012 concert.

Around Mountain View, it's beginning to look -- and sound -- a lot like Christmas. Thanks, kids!

(P.S. Wear gloves.)
