RANKINGS: Final Basketball Hierarchy for Peninsula

Season-ending rankings include few changes from recent weeks; compare local teams' final placement to their spot in Patch's initial top-10 charts on Jan. 11.

With the basketball season finished for all but one Peninsula high school team – the Pinewood School girls – Patch’s top-10 rankings this week take a final glance at the best of the local programs.

The season-ending rankings for boys and girls basketball look very similar to the hierarchy from several weeks ago. No teams distinguished themselves enough in the early rounds of California Interscholastic Federation playoffs last week to make a convincing case that they should leapfrog other programs.

Patch’s initial rankings – from Jan. 11, just before the league seasons began -- are included for comparison.

The weekly rankings are drawn from all San Mateo County high schools, as well as schools in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.

Records include games played through Saturday, Mar. 12.
