Keep the Kids Busy this Summer! Head to the Library!

The Mountain View Public Library hosts entertaining and educational events all summer.

If your kids finds themselves with too much idle time on their hands, consider taking them to the this summer.

These events will be behind the library at (unless otherwise noted) and are best for kids in grades kindergarten through five.

June 28, Thursday, 2:30 - 3:15 pm
Monique Lee – The Bat Lady Get close to bats and learn why we need them in our lives.

Sombrero Sisters – Sharon and Kathy have marvelous stories under their hats (Community Room).

July 12, Thursday, 2:30 - 3:15 pm
Astrowizard – Watch a physics magic show through 3D glasses in the Community Room. Move outside for an explosive demo of the “Big Bang Theory” and a chance to look through a solar telescope.

Willy Claflin – World famous Maynard the Moose returns with his own hilarious version of familiar tall tales.

July 26, Thursday, 2:30 - 3:15 pm
Camping with – Enjoy camping tips and games and a chance to explore some great tents.

August 2, Thursday, 2:30 - 3:15 pm
Classroom Safari – We’ll pretend it’s nighttime as we meet some nocturnal animals and more.
