For the sixth year, , a provider of non-medical services to Peninsula and South Bay senior citizens who prefer independent living, partnered with local branches of , and this holiday season to collect gifts for seniors.
They've collected hundreds and this Friday, Dec. 16, dozens of volunteers including Mountain View Patch contributor Chitra Rakesh, and the general managers of the Wells Fargo and Walgreens gathered at Home Instead Senior Care office in Mountain View and wrapped 500 gifts for seniors.
The gifts will go to low-income seniors that frequent local nonprofit organizations like the .
