Week Ahead: Register for Adult Ed, Art at Rengstorff House

If you don't want to drive, consider a walk or bike ride to these events in Mountain View this week.

The Mountain View Adult Education School began their registration for the Fall 2013 session. The fall catalog will be available for viewing on their website on Monday, August 12th. Potential students can find course catalogs at the Mtn. View Senior Center's lobby on Escuela Avenue; at the lobby of the Mtn. View Recreation Center on Rengstorff Avenue; at the Hillview Senior Center in Los Altos (room 10); in the Los Altos Recreation Center on Hillview; and at the Adult School, 333 Moffett Blvd., in Mountain View.

Have questions about city affairs? Join Mayor John Inks for "Java with John" this Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Le Boulanger, 650 Castro St.

"Let's go to the movies! Let's go see the stars!" The City of Mountain View's Summer Outdoor Movie Night's Series, concludes this Friday, Aug. 16 with "Hotel Transylvania" at Rengstorff Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Free and open to the public. Starts after dark.

Learn about Rengstorff House, 3070 N. Shoreline Blvd., this summer through the fine art of local artists including works in watercolor, oil as well as photography and collage. Viewing hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
