Shoreline Park

Shoreline Park is Mountain View's largest park located along the baylands. It's a nature preserve, trail access,More picnic areas, a lake with amenities such as kayaking and paddle boats and The Lakeside Cafe.</p> <p>As soon as one drives or walks into the park on the right, there is a kite flying area, that on certain weekend morning turns into the start/finish area for local run/walk 5K or 10K races.</p> <p>On the left hand side of the park, the Shoreline Golf Links are located as well as Rengstorff House.</p> <p>Right before one enters the park to the right, there is a 0.66 acre dog. Animals may run off-leash while inside the park; however, they are required to be leashed while going to and from the parking area to the dog park. Dogs are not permitted in Shoreline Park.</p> <p>All city parks and trails open at 6 a.m. until 30 minutes past past sunset. Motor vehicles are allowed in designated parking lots and roadways only. Dogs must be on leash. Animal handlers are rquired to clean up after their pet.</p>
