Birthday: October 6
As the associate local editor for the Silicon Valley region of Patch, I am enthusiastic about covering and editing content for an undoubtedly diverse area: 11 cities stretching from Mountain View to Watsonville. A Bay Area native and Columbia Journalism School graduate, I have reported largely for online and print outlets in the South Bay, San Francisco, and New York City.
An avid world traveler and international news junkie, I have also covered stories in locales such as Buenos Aires and Helsinki, Finland. I was a Fulbright travel grantee in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany in 2011 and a journalism fellow in Finland through the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2010.
I have covered everything from local start-ups to deaf rappers who perform through sign language.

also, when is said "that's no lady, that's my girlfriend" I was quoting a quite well-known phrasing of a joke that goes "that's not lady, that's my wife" -- I quickly found twenty other citations to it or twists on it, including New York Times article on Jeff Koons and Lyle Lovett song -- still haven't found the exact source.
In any case, can you restore my original phrasing?

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for your contribution to Patch! We're looking to build our network of bloggers, and welcome more video posts of community events. I sent you an email that should help, but let me know if you have any more questions. :)
Best,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,
I sent you an email yesterday and am hoping to hear from you soon.
I'm a regular blogger at Gilroy Patch and need some immediate technical help to post videos on the site (not from YouTube).
FYI, I would start to post more often if I could get approval within 24 hours. Hopefully you can help support our community reporting at our community media center here in Gilroy!
We have weekly football games in their entirety and community news in video.
Looking forward to working with you. :-)
best,
Kathy Bisbee, CMAP.TV

Nice coincidence, there are a lot of us Libras out there. Hopefully my email answered your question about the blog post. :)
