One person suffered burn injuries during a residential fire in Mountain View this evening, a fire dispatcher said.
At 7:34 p.m., Santa Clara County fire officials received a report of a burn victim at the scene of a residential fire in the 200 block of Elmwood Street, about a block from Jackson Park, the dispatcher said.
Fire officials responded to the scene and the victim was transported to Valley Medical Center.
The extent of the victim's injuries has not yet been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
